SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Robert I. Winter, a resident of Rock Tavern, died Saturday, May 7. He was 60.
Born Feb. 21, 1956, in Suffern, he was the son of Irving and Christine (Wood) Winter.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a supervisor at Pratt Quality Carton in New Windsor.
He is survived by three children, Tina Misla (Luis), Amy Mack (Kevin) and James Robert (Gushy); four grandchildren, Tyler, Arianna, Khloe, and Kevin; three sisters, Sharon Maralia (Alex), Debbie Kessler, and Kathy Poole (Rich); his girlfriend, Carmen Velez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Tuesday, May 10, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Scarr Funeral Home Inc., Route 202, Suffern. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 11, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern. Burial will follow at Airmont Cemetery in Airmont.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
