POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Residents and commuters should plan to avoid South Cherry Street Thursday, between Forbus Street and College Avenue, due to a road closure for gas line repairs, according to city officials.
Parts of South Cherry Street in Poughkeepsie will be closed on Thursday for roadwork.
Photo Credit: Google MapsCentral Hudson contractors will be working mid-block installing a gas service at 177 South Cherry St., and repairing a gas leak at 200 South Cherry St.
Emergency vehicles will be able to access South Cherry Street from both directions if necessary.
