"Creating Your Path to College" will be from 1-3 p.m. in the library's program room.

The program will discuss how high school years are critical in the college planning process. This class will give students the timeline for high school that will get them ready to apply for colleges. Students also will learn how to keep track of important events and successes in high school and create a resume they can continue to work with as they progress through school.

In addition, they will learn about the differences in the ACT and SAT tests and gain an understanding as to which test they would do their best. This program is aimed at high schoo students but parents also are encouraged to attend.

The event is part of the library's adult summer reading program and is made possible thanks to the Friends of the Library.

Registration is required. For more information, contact Lesley Lambton at 203-438-2282 or [email protected].
