RIDGEFIELD, Conn. Ridgefield resident Valerie Jensen can now officially say she owns the former Webster Bank building.
The Ridgefield Library announced on Monday that the sale of 25 Prospect St. had been completed on Aug. 16. According to a release from the library, the completion of the sale is a significant part of the funding for the new library building.
"We are so pleased that this phase of the project has come to successful resolution, said Chris Nolan, the Ridgefield Library director. We are looking forward to working closely with our new neighbors during construction and when both buildings open in late 2013."
Jensen has plans on returning the building to its original use as a theater.
