PEEKSKILL, N.Y. Regina C. Salvatore, formerly of Peekskill, died Aug. 12 in Hamburg, Pa. She was 100.
The daughter of Dominic Salvatore and Lucia DiCarlo Salvatore, she was born July 17, 1912. Salvatore graduated from Hendrick Hudson High School in 1930 and Gaines Business School in New York City in 1931. She worked at Lever Bros. Co. for 20 years before retiring in 1979.
Salvatore, never married, was predeceased by five siblings. She relocated to Berks County, Pa., in the late 1990s to live with her last living sibling, Julia (Salvatore) Kennedy.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Assumption Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Assumption Church. Kuhn Funeral Home in West Reading, Pa., is handling arrangements.
