PEEKSKILL, N.Y. Hurricane Irene is already altering this weekends events.
The Paramount Center for the Arts announced it has cancelled the Jim Breuer show scheduled for Sunday, as well as the Opera in Cinema show The Magic Flute, which was scheduled for Saturday.
The Jim Breuer show will be rescheduled. If you have already purchased tickets to the show your tickets will be honored for the rescheduled performance. A new date for both shows will be announced shortly.
The Second Annual Caribbean Reggae-Soca Splash scheduled for Saturday evening has also been cancelled, although staff at show sponsor the BeanRunner Cafe said they plan to reschedule the event.
The Peekskill Farmers Market will likely be held on Saturday morning as normal, but Sundays flea market will probably be cancelled.
