PEEKSKILL, NY -- Thunderstorms are a possibility throughout the weekend and flood-causing heavy rain is a possibility, according to the National Weather Service. On Friday there may be patchy fog before 9 a.m. before becoming partly sunny with a high near 83 degrees. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3 p.m. Friday night will be mostly cloudy with an overnight low around 61 degrees and a 40 percent chance of showers or thunderstorms.

On Saturday, it will be partly sunny with a high near 80 degrees. Thunderstorms could at times produce heavy rain. For Saturday night there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms until 10 p.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. It will be mostly cloudy with an overnight low of around 60 degrees.

Sunday may see showers and thunderstorms after noon. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. It will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 72 degrees. Sunday night could see showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain.
