Rain wreaked havoc with the local baseball schedule Wednesday night and all of the games were postponed. Most of them will be moved to tonight.
The North Stamford 11-year-old All-Stars will open Section 1 tournament play Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Scalzi Park against Edgewood. East Haven will play Shelton National at 5:30 p.m. at Scalzi in the opening game.
In the Babe Ruth 15-year-old tournament, Stamford plays Norwalk at 5:45 p.m. at Kiwanis Field in Fairfield in the winners' bracket final. The tournament winner advances to the New England Regional.
