CARMEL, N.Y. – Onyx, a young black and white kitty, is seeking a permanent home, the Putnam Humane Society said Friday.

She is about 3 years old and “very, very sweet,” the shelter said.

Visit Onyx and her friends at Putnam Humane Society, 68 Old Route 6, Carmel.

The shelter is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Cats can be viewed from 10 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.; dogs, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
