In a social media update posted just before 1 p.m., Rye Police said they were aware of the outage and that Con Edison had been notified. Authorities added that there was no immediate estimate for when power would be restored.
According to Con Edison, approximately 100 customers in the area are affected as of early Tuesday afternoon. As of 1:15 p.m., no restoration time had been announced.
Police are urging residents to call 911 only for emergencies during the outage.
