POUND RIDGE, N.Y. For parents whose hectic schedules dont correspond with those of their children who attend Pound Ridge Elementary School, they dont have to worry. The Bedford School District is offering childcare before and after school.
ABC Childcare has provided before and after school care for the students in the Bedford Central District for 27 years. ABC is a non-sectarian program sponsored by the Rosenthal JCC, which is based in Pleasantville.
ABC is located in the cafeteria of the Pound Ridge Elementary School. Busing is provided by the district to the after school program. Homework supervision, playground and gym are available. Activities include arts & crafts, cooking and nature study.
