Donald P. Goeller, 51, was stopped by troopers on Sunday, Feb. 7, at the intersection of Vassar Road and Silver Lane for failing to maintain his lane, state police said.
Goeller was subsequently found to be intoxicated, and charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a felony, and aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, state police said.
Goeller’s driver's license had been revoked four times – dating back to 1999 – due to DWI-related charges, state police said.
Goeller submitted to a breath test and was found to have a blood alcohol content of 0.19 percent, more than two times the legal limit, state police said.
He was ticketed and ordered to appear in the Town of Poughkeepsie Court on Tuesday, Feb. 16, state police said.
