RIDGEFIELD, Conn. With over 5,000 acres of open space and trails, Ridgefield could be called a hiker's dream.
The town boasts 32 parks and open spaces, including Seth Low Pierrepont State Park and the Weir Farm National Historic Site. The Conservation Commission has graded all the open spaces from easy to difficult for hiking.
In a flyer, Ridgefield Parks and Recreation asks residents to respect our beautiful area. Only leave footprints on our trails!
