STAMFORD, Conn. A Stamford man was stabbed in the neck with a beer bottle on the citys West Side Thursday evening, Lt. Diedrich Hohn said.
The man began running toward Stamford Hospital, when a friend saw him and drove him the rest of the way, Hohn said. He received 25 stitches for two large cuts and was released, Hohn said.
The man said he did not know his assailant, and although he said the attack took place on Myano Lane, police were unable to find any evidence there, Hohn said. The victim has not been cooperative, the lieutenant said.
Anyone with information should call the Detective Bureau at 203-977-4417.
