Be sure to break for ducks! At this Monday's Memorial Day Parade, Westport Sunrise Rotary Club members, in duck-yellow shirts, will be selling tickets to sponsor a rubber duck in June 12th's Great Duck Race on the Saugatuck. Tickets are $20. They fund local and international charities.The Great Duck Race is a family event, with lots of entertainment, food and kids activities. When the race begins, 3,000 bright yellow ducks will be set free to swim downstream. Sponsors of the first ten duck finishers win prizes. And there is also a $10,000 raffle. You'll see Westport Sunrise Rotary members with their ticket books, all over town this Memorial Day weekend, as well as at Monday's parade. And on June 12, head for the river. Because from 1-4 p.m., Westport Sunrise Rotary will have the biggest flotilla of rubber ducks you've ever seen.
