PEEKSKILL, N.Y. - Irma M. Jessup, a lifelong resident of Peekskill, died March 5 at the age of 94.
The daughter of the late Herbert and Ruth Elsemore, she was born on Nov. 12, 1917. On April 12, 1941, she married William L. Jessup at First Methodist Church of Peekskill. Jessup was an avid reader.
She is survived by her son William Jessup, Jr., four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Jessup was predeceased by her husband William on Jan. 26, 1988, her daughter Linda Jessup-Zanfardino and granddaughter Kim Jessup.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at E.O. Curry Funeral Home in Peekskill, followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor.
