PEEKSKILL This weekend will start off sunny but according to the National Weather Service in New York rain is likely on its way.
Friday afternoon will see partly sunny skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms and a high near 85 degrees. South wind around six mph. Going into tonight, scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely, mainly before midnight. Skies will remain mostly cloudy, with an overnight low around 62 degrees and a 30 percent chance of precipitation.
Saturday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 86 degrees. There is a 30 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4 p.m. The evening will see possible scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8 p.m., with an overnight low of around 63 degrees.
Sunday will start out partly sunny with a high of 81 degrees but showers and thunderstorms are likely later on, mainly after 4 p.m. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Winds will increase to between seven and 10 miles per hour and rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch are possible.
