PEEKSKILL, N.Y. The Field Library is inviting city teens to take part in their summer reading challenge using a social media website. Students must read and review four books on the website goodreads.com to complete the challenge. Teens can register for the challenge at The Field Library reference desk all summer long.
The library will be holding a registration workshop on Wednesday, July 27 from 9:30 - 11 a.m. where they will show how to sign up for the program online. Goodreads.com is a social networking site for readers, and the librarys workshop will give attendees a tour of its capabilities. Registration is required for the workshop and priority will be given to participants in the Teen Summer Reading Challenge.
