PEEKSKILL, N.Y. The Peekskill Board of Education has scheduled a special meeting for Thursday evening.
A notice was sent out shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday saying the board would meet from 5:30 p.m. until about 6 p.m. at the Ford Administration Building, 1031 Elm St.
According to the meeting agenda posted Thursday online the board of education will vote to authorizes the superintendent to approve change orders for capital projects up to $10,000 and authorizes change orders in the amounts of $10,000 to $50,000 to be approved jointly by the superintendent and the board president.
Board members are also expected to vote to approve several faculty and staff appointments.
