PEEKSKILL, N.Y. State Police have announced the third shoplifting arrest this month at the city's Wal-Mart store.
Robert A. Petrocine, 21, of Peekskill, was arrested April 9 on charges of petit larceny, a misdemeanor, police said.
Petrocine was caught by the store's loss prevention team trying to leave with an item concealed under his clothing, police said. He was arrested and taken to the Cortlandt barracks for processing. He is due in Cortlandt Town Court on April 16.
On April 13, State Police arrested two young Peekskill women allegedly trying to steal over $80 worth of merchandise.
