PEEKSKILL -- The Home Run Derby that was cancelled Friday because of rain has been rescheduled for Sept. 9.
The event will be held at Peekskill Stadium located on Louisa Street off of Route 9. The derby is open to anyone 16 and older and there is a $25 entry fee to participate. Prizes will be awarded to winners.
The stadium concession stand will also be open. A $5 donation for spectators is required. All proceeds will benefit Support Connection, which aids women who have been affected by breast and ovarian cancer.
