PEEKSKILL The Committee of The Whole will hold a special meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. to discuss the position of economic specialist.
The position has been vacant since the most recent economic specialist Christopher Marra left the city in May after three years with the city to accept the position of executive director at the Secaucus, N.J. Housing Authority.
The Office of Economic Development centers on business retention, expansion, and attraction and marketing citys artist live/work district, as well as tourism. They also apply for and distribute various grants.
