The Peekskill Rec Department includes several parks, baseball and softball fields, outdoor basketball courts and athletic complexes including; DePew Park, Frankiln, Charles Point, Lepore, Riverfront Green and Peekskill Stadium. The department oversees youth sports programs, Senior Nutrition Center, the Creative Arts Program, summer day camp, Veterans Memorial Pool, Teen Youth Travel Camp as well as community sponsored sports programs.
The Kiley Youth Center, located at 709 Main Street, provides year-round supervised youth programs. The Center operates Monday through Saturday from 3-11 p.m. and programs are free of charge. Registration at the Kiley Center is required. For more information call the Kiley Center at 734-4256 after 3 p.m.

The Buchanan Recreation Department, through the recreation supervisor, administers all recreation and parks activities and manages the part-time summer recreational staff. The department operates a swimming pool and summer day-camp programs.
