FAIRFIELD, Conn. A group of teenagers was charged with trespassing after police broke up a party behind Tomlinson Middle School early Tuesday, Fairfield police reported.
Officers arrived at the Unquowa Road school just after midnight in response to complaints of a party. Eleven teenagers were found on the schools football field. They scattered when police arrived, leaving behind bottles, cans, plastic cups, cigarette butts, chairs, blankets and phones, according to police reports.
Police rounded up the teens near the school and gave them infractions for simple trespass and littering. Four were under 18 and were turned over to their parents. The rest were sent on their way.
