One Killed In Irvington Fire: Prosecutor

A man was killed in a fire in Irvington early Monday morning, March 2, authorities said.

At 3:11 a.m., firefighters responded to a fire an industrial building at 286-298 Coit Street, Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II and Irvington Director of Public Safety Tracy Bowers said.

A man, who has not been identified, was pronounced deceased at the scene, authorities said.

No other injuries were reported, authorities said. The cause and origin of the fire is under investigation, authorities said.
