The event is set for Thursday, June 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the school’s Naugatuck campus, located at 1186 New Haven Road.

Reservations are required by calling 203-732-1276 or emailing [email protected].

According to Griffin Hospital School of Allied Health Careers, the 14-month Practical Nursing program is the only hospital-based program of its kind in Connecticut.

Students train with nationally certified or master’s-prepared nurses and complete clinical rotations at Griffin Hospital, Stamford Hospital, Masonicare, and Gaylord Hospital.

The 6,000-square-foot Naugatuck campus includes simulation technology and nursing labs designed to help students practice in realistic clinical settings.

The program is approved by the State of CT Board of Examiners for Nursing and has a 100 percent licensure test pass rate,  leading many graduates to immediate job placement.

Students may request help connecting with academic funding opportunities.

A second open house is scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Reservations can also be made by calling 203-732-1276 or emailing [email protected].
