A man told Norwalk police he was held up at gunpoint at 9:25 p.m. Wednesday on West Cedar Street. The 27-year-old victim was taken to Norwalk Hospital because he said he had been hit in the head and was dizzy.
The victim told Norwalk Police that he had been walking down West Cedar Street, by North Taylor Avenue, when two or three man approached him. One had a handgun, but he could not provide a description of the gun. One of the men held him and another hit him over the head. Then they ran away.
He did not know what he had been hit with and he did not see their faces, he said. Nothing was taken from him. Police said he was being uncooperative.
