NORWALK, Conn. A Norwalk man was burned Monday evening when his generator exploded, according to Fire Department Deputy Chief Gino Gatto. The victim was transported to Norwalk Hospital with burns on his hands, arms, face and hair. The injuries are not life threatening.
The fire at 6 Greenhill Road was reported at 5:04 p.m. When fire companies arrived, the right side of the house was on fire and spreading up a wall. The fire was extinguished quickly, and the interior was checked.
