The Norwalk High School football team capped off spring practices Tuesday with its annual Green versus White scrimmage. Green came out on top, 8-0, in a spirited defensive struggle. Johnny Anzalone scored on a two-yard run up the gut to put Green on the board. Derek Edwards, who intercepted a pass to set up the score, added a two-point conversion on a reverse hand-off.
Norwalk is coming off a 4-6 season and is now being helmed by new head coach Sean Ireland. Check back Thursday for a video interview with Ireland on the state of the Bears and his coaching philosophy.
