As of Friday evening there had been about 1.1 inches of rainfall with another 1.5 inches anticipated before Saturday afternoon. A flood warning is in effect for Westchester until 8:15 p.m. Friday as well as a coastal flood advisory until 1 a.m. Saturday and a flash flood warning until 2 p.m. Saturday.
High tides for the area are forecast to be about seven to eight feet, with tidal departure of no more than two feet. As a result, no tidal surge, coastal or rive-based flooding is expected, according to the National Weather Service and the Westchester County Office of Emergency Management.

The remnants of Tropical Storm Andrea has brought heavy rain into the area Thursday and Friday. The storm is expected to blow over the area Saturday leaving overcast skies with a high near 80 degrees. Sunday will be mostly sunny and 83, followed by a good chance of showers and thunderstorms Monday, continuing through Wednesday.
The wet weather is expected to clear up Wednesday night. Thursday and Friday will be partly sunny with a high near 75.
