Several shore towns still offer free access, making them the cheapest options for families looking to save. The free beaches are Wildwood, Wildwood Crest, North Wildwood, Strathmere, and Atlantic City.

The next cheapest would be:

  • Harvey Cedars: Daily $7

  • Stone Harbor: Daily $8
  • Ocean City / Sea Isle City / Ship Bottom / Seven Presidents Beach: Daily $10
  • Asbury Park: Daily $7 weekday, $10 weekend

Other low-cost options include Ventnor and Margate, which offer preseason seasonal badges for just $10.

At the other end of the spectrum, some beach towns continue to charge premium prices for access. The most expensive beaches at the Jersey Shore:

  • Mantoloking: Season $145, Daily $15
  • Loch Arbour: Season $150, Daily $10–$15
  • Spring Lake: Season $110, Daily $20
  • Sea Girt: Season $115, Daily $12
  • Ocean Grove: Season $105, Daily $13

Monmouth Beach and Avon-by-the-Sea also rank among the pricier options, with seasonal badges at $110. Sandy Hook remains free to enter, but visitors pay $20 per car for parking, or $100 for a season pass.

Preseason discounts remain available in many towns through May, offering one last chance to lock in lower rates before peak summer pricing kicks in. Visit your beach's municipal website for info on how to purchase passes.
