PEEKSKILL, N.Y. Nicholas J. DiLello of Peekskill died Aug. 21 at his home. He was 86.
DiLello was born April 9, 1926, in Ossining. He served in the Navy from 1943 to 1946 and was married to Isabella DiLello, who survives him.
He is also survived by six children, Charlene DiLello, Diana DiLello, Frank Calabro, Jeanne Lipscomb, Kathleen Lucanera-Nagy and Loretta Ford; a brother, Tony Sequare; and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home in Peekskill. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Assumption Church in Peekskill. Burial will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley, N.Y.
