The project, which has been held up by several other delays, now faces a deed restriction. The land set to be used for the project is owned by the City, but one of the lots has a restriction that it be used only for municipal purposes. Devolping housing on the parcel would revert ownership back to the housing authority, the Record reported.
The City Council is expected to endorse removing the restriction. The Housing Authority could vote on removing said restriction as early as Sept. 21, the Record said.
