DARIEN, Conn. The Tree Conservancy of Darien and the Girl Scouts planted 23 trees at Dariens seven public schools that will provide welcome color to students and teachers in the spring.
The trees were donated by the Girl Scouts to celebrate their 100th anniversary. The trees were part of the conservancys first annual tree sale, a program that resulted in more than 65 Eastern Rosebuds being planted across town.
