NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Hydrant work on North Avenue continued Thursday for the second day as workers replaced and installed fire hydrants.
A tractor bulldozer, among other equipment, was brought into the area for further work so the replacement and installation could be completed.
The two left lanes were blocked off Thursday, which detoured drivers to the right.
Makeshift lanes were also marked by cones with one lane open in each direction until work finished.
Workers will continue installing and replacing hydrants at different locations along North Avenue as needed.
