NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. Work to replace and install fire hydrants on North Avenue will be completed Friday.
A tractor bulldozer, among other equipment, was brought into the area for further work so the replacement and installation could be completed.
Lanes were blocked detouring drivers up through the middle of the avenue. Makeshift lanes were also marked by cones.
The crew next moves on to nearby Eastchester, before returning to New Rochelle for more street work.
