JailbreakCon 2013 is a two-day event expected to feature some of the biggest names on the jailbreak scene through a series of talks and workshops.
What is jailbreaking, you ask? It's when you hack the operating system of an Apple device to be able to add features to the software.
The conference, held Aug. 23 and 24, offers early bird tickets that start at $80 per day – a $140 two-day pass can also be purchased. Tickets include “all main stage presentations, plus inclusion into competitions and day-long access to vendors and retail demonstrations,” the release said.
The jailbreak conference started as MyGreatFest in 2011 in London, England and then it was held in San Francisco, Calif. in 2012.
