The first is called Vencinos ayudando a Vencinos, and will be held at Hackensack High School.
Latinos-helping-Latinos USA, a neighbors helping neighbors group in partnership with the Puerta al Futuro program, will meet at Petrocelli College, Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Neighbors-helping-Neighbors USA, Inc. is a cost-free, grassroots, nationally recognized, peer-led group targeted to adults who are actively looking for work and interested in reinvigorating their job search. The volunteer group offers weekly support and networking.
Founded by John R. Fugazzie and started in River Edge in 2011, NhN has fostered a “pay it forward” give back and an accountability weekly meeting model. Neighbors Helping Neighbors has helped more than 500 people get back to work since it was founded.
