Revitalize Wellness Center LLC, with Nina Manipon, licensed naturopathic physician at the helm, is taking new patients at 76 Progress Drive, medical suite 218K.
“We are a naturopathic medical practice and our focus is on serving families, working moms and working professionals,” Manipon said.
Manipon treats patients for the basic cold, flu and seasonal allergies, as well as for a range of conditions that includes thyroid disorders, metabolic syndrome, diabetes and chronic pain. She has extensive experience in women’s health. Naturopathy in its current form has been around since the late 1800s. Naturopathic medicine focuses on optimizing health and treating the person as a whole by assessing physical, mental and environmental factors to name a few. Manipon’s focus is on understanding all these factors to produce an individualized treatment plan. As a naturopathic physician she is skilled in a variety of treatment options which include clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, acupuncture and homeopathy. Naturopathic physicians undergo rigorous academic and clinical training.
“My practice is truly about focusing on the root causes of illness and resolving any underlying symptoms with the right diet, nutrition and reducing stress levels,” she said.
While treatment options are critical, it is also Manipon’s patient-centered approach and the amount of time she takes with each patient to fully understand, listen and access their concerns that makes for successful outcomes. This all begins with a complimentary 10-minute phone or in-person consultation to assess a patient’s concerns and to see if the patient and Manipon are a good match.
Manipon will be a guest speaker for Wellness Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. March 23 at Halo Studios in New Canaan. She will give an overview about Naturopathic Medicine and it's unique benefits. The event is free.
