Darrell Brown, 22, was spotted as he exited a Bee-Line bus early Thursday morning, three days after he was last seen, police said.
Yonkers police issued a missing persons alert Wednesday for Brown after he was last seen Monday in the area of Nepperhan Avenue.
A family friend spotted Brown, who suffers from health issues, Thursday and brought him back home to his family, police spokesman Det. Let. Patrick McCormack said.
The young man appears to be in good physical condition, McCormack said, and police are working to determine where he had been.
