Missing Hackensack Woman Found

Less than an hour after seeking the public's help, Hackensack police got a call from someone who spotted an an 88-year-old city woman with dementia who wandered off this morning.

Quincy Cooper, who was last seen around 8:30 a.m., was "disoriented, a bit tired but OK" when police found her near Hackensack High School after receiving a call around 6:40 p.m., Detective Sgt. James Smith told Daily Voice moments later.

Cooper had gone missing before, "and once ended up in [Arkansas] somehow," Smith said earlier. "But we're worried because of her age."
