Lesbia Mileth Ramirez Guerra, 23, of Waldorf, was last seen on Monday, March 31, inside her Adams Court home, where she lived with her boyfriend — the father of her two children — and several others, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office said Monday, April 7.
He reported her missing two days later.
But as detectives started digging, they discovered “unusual and suspicious activity” at the home the very next day after Guerra was last seen. Investigators now suspect foul play in her disappearance, they said.
A search warrant was executed, but Guerra was not found. Detectives believe a red Toyota 4Runner family vehicle seen at the home that day may be linked to the case.
The boyfriend — whose name has not been released — was still inside the home, but what detectives reportedly found raised even more red flags.
Inside, investigators recovered federal documents believed to belong to the boyfriend — only to learn they were counterfeit.
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was contacted and confirmed the man was not in the United States legally.
He was taken into federal custody by ICE agents.
