Michael Small was last seen on foot around 4:45 p.m. on March 24 at the Green Acres Assisted Living Facility on Bradley Street in Abingdon, according to a Senior Alert issued by Virginia State Police on behalf of the Abingdon Police Department.
Small is described as a white male, 6-foot-tall weighing 205 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He may be wearing a dark blue shirt, tan sweater, pajama pants, and a ball cap, police said.
Investigators say Small suffers from a cognitive impairment, and his disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.
