DARIEN, Conn. -- Michael Frank Saverine, 60, of Darien, died Saturday, Sept. 12.
He was born in Stamford on Aug. 18, 1955, to Frank and Gloria DeRosa Saverine.
He graduated from Darien High School, class of 1975.
He is survived by his mother, Gloria Saverine, of Darien; and his sister, Sue Saverine, and her husband, Scott, of Atlanta.
He was predeceased by his father, Frank Saverine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Sept. 18, at 10 a.m. at St. Maurice Roman Catholic Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford.
Entombment will follow at St. John's Mausoleum, St. John's Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Maurice Roman Catholic Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford, CT 06906.
