WESTPORT, Conn. In celebration of Hanukkah, the eight-day Jewish holiday that began Tuesday at sundown, the Schneerson Center for Jewish Life in Westport is hosting a menorah lighting celebration Wednesday night.
During the celebration, a giant outdoor Menorah will be placed in front of the Wells Fargo Bank in the Compo Acres Shopping Center on Post Road East and lit. The event will kick off at 7 p.m. and will also include live music, hot latkes, Hanukkah gelt and dreidels.
