In addition to her work as a teacher, she was active at Our Lady of the Visitation parish, serving as a charter member of the parish choir.
She was predeceased by her husband, George, and her siblings, James Prevost, the Rev. Fred Prevost and Jennie Williams.
Survivors include her children, Daniel Mulhauser and his wife Christine of Windham, N.H.; Paul Mulhauser and his wife Linda of New York City; George E. Mulhauser and his wife Christine of Westwood; and Mary Ann Place and her husband Jeff of Pawling, N.Y.
She also is survived by her grandchildren, David, Erin, Kimberly, Stephen, Kate, Mary Kate, Rebecca, Christopher and Jonathan.
A visitation is planned from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. Sunday at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 S. Farview Ave., Paramus.
A funeral service is planned for 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, 234 N. Farview Ave., Paramus.
