NYACK, N.Y. – Mary Ellen Vitulli (Kennedy), of Nyack, died Saturday, June 18 after a short illness. She was 81.
She was born on Aug. 2, 1935. She was a foster and adoptive parent to many children she welcomed and cared for in her home. She was a member of the Pearl River Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son Lawrence Phillip Vitulli, Jr. his wife, Mary Joy, and their children, Lawrence Phillip, III, Kristin, and James; son Paul Anthony Vitulli and his wife, Marsha, and their children, Paul Anthony Jr., Sarah and Samantha; and sons Allen and Michael Vitulli at home.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Phillip Vitulli.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 18 Jefferson St., Nyack.
