SPARKILL, N.Y. -- Mary E. O'Dea, 85, of Sparkill, died Wednesday, Sept. 14. She was 85.
She was born April 12, 1931 in Manhattan. She was raised in Washington Heights, and was a graduate of Our Lady of Victory Academy in Dobbs Ferry.
She was retired from the New York Telephone Company.
She is survived by her children, MaryLynne Schiller (James) and Cliff O'Dea (Jane); grandchildren KerriLynne Schiller, Christopher (Lana) Schiller, John (Liz) Schiller and Robert (Amber) Schiller; and great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Aedan's R.C. Church, 23 S. Reld Drive, Pearl River. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne. Visiting is from 4-7 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc., 100 Franklin Ave., Pearl River.
In lieu of flowers, friends may send a memorial donation in her name to a charity of one's choice.
