POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — Poughkeepsie resident Mary Ann Williams died Saturday, April 30. She was 71.
In 1981, she began a 35-year career in real estate, making many friends in the process.
Williams is survived by her three children and their spouses, Maryann Williams and Kathleen Garrison of Poughkeepsie, Claudia and Ronald Smith and Mark and Michele Williams. She also is survived by grandchildren Jessica, Justin, Kaleb and Cameron Smith, Alexa, Aidan, Luke, Brendan and Declan Williams; siblings Patricia Lichtenberg, Ellen Murphy, Michael Duane, and Ann Byrne; and five nieces and four nephews.
A memorial service and celebration of her life will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Congregational Church United Church of Christ, 269 Mill St., Poughkeepsie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in care of Mary Ann Williams to First Congregational Church United Church of Christ, 269 Mill St., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. They also may be made to Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation, 374 Violet Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
