She was born on Oct.28,1928, in Green Island, N.Y., to John and Mary Scally Brennan.
On Oct.14,1960, she married Nelson J. Hare, in Green Island..
She was employed as a secretary at Vassar Bros. Hospital in Poughkeepsie and retired in 1989.
She is survived by her daughters, Katherine M. White and Nancy Melilli both of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; and grandchildren, Michael, Patrick, Felicia, Brianna, Olivia, Sarah and Diane.
She was predeceased by her husband; son, Robert Hare; daughter, Susan Hare; and brother, Jack Brennan.
Visitation will be Friday, May 27, from 4-7 p.m. at the Wm. G. Miller and Son Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 231 Church St., Poughkeepsie. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
